2024年3月3日（日）に東京マラソン2024が開催されました。CAREのチャリティランナーは国内海外合わせて117名の方が出走されました。改めまして参加いただいたチャリティランナーの方々へ感謝申し上げます。
今回は海外から参加されたチャリティランナーEvaさんのインタビューをご紹介します！

The Tokyo Marathon 2024 was held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, and a total of 117 CARE charity runners from Japan and overseas participated in the race. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to all the charity runners who participated.

Here is an interview with Ms. Eva, a charity runner from America.

Is this your first time running a marathon as a charity runner?

CAREのチャリティランナーとして走るのは初めてです。全てがとても素晴らしいかったです。私にとってとても良い経験になりました。CAREの活発なコミュニケーション、ポジティブな雰囲気から、私は改めてCAREのランナーとして走れたことを誇りに思っています。

Running with CARE is my first time participating in a charity run, and the experience has been amazing. Your team has been very communicative, positive, and encouraging, which makes me proud to run for this organization.

CAREのチャリティランナーに参加した感想をお願いします
What are your feelings about participating in CARE's charity runners?

コミュニケーション、特にEメールで、私が疑問に思う前に全てのことについて細かく案内があり、とてもスムーズでした。チャリティランナーとして走る上で、懇親会でCAREのスタッフや理事の方にも会えたことで、CAREとのつながりを強く感じることができました。またCAREと何かしたい、寄付をしたい、そのような気持ちになりました。ネガティブなことはありませんでした。

I appreciated the communication emails; all the information was presented before I even had any questions. Everything was clearly laid out, so the expectations and events were well understood. I did not feel uncertain about what I was doing. CARE has been great, and I've had a great experience. Being as my first charity, everything went very smoothly. I really appreciate that to be able to meet some of the staff and the board members at the reception as it helped me feel more connected to the organization. This experience has encouraged me to consider future involvement with CARE, whether through running or fundraising again. Everything has been excellent, and I don’t have anything to have say.

来年ケアのチャリティマラソンに挑戦するのを考えている人に一言お願いします
What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying the CARE charity marathon next year?

CAREのミッションは明確で、特にウクライナの女性や子ども（女子）にフォーカスしているという部分が、ポーランド出身である自分自身に響くものがありました。どのくらいのお金をどこに使うのかがはっきり説明されていることが、どこに寄付したらいいかわからない人にとってとても助けになり、団体に期待できるようになると思います。

CARE's mission is clear, especially the part about focusing on women and children (girls) in Ukraine, which resonated with me, being Polish. I think CARE’s clear explanation of where and how much money will be spent will be very helpful for those who don't know where to donate or what to expect from an organization.

Evaさんはマラソンイベント前に開催したCAREのオンラインイベントにも参加いただきました。オンラインイベントではコース案内や注意事項、チャリティラウンジの情報などをお知らせしました。事前に顔合わせができたので、ランナー受付を行うEXPOでお会いした時にすぐに気づくことができ、再会がとてもうれしかったです。「走る国際協力」にご参加いただき誠にありがとうございました！

Ms. Eva also participated in CARE's online event held prior to the marathon event. At the online event, we provided course information, notes, and information about the charity lounge. Since we had met online beforehand, we were able to recognize each other immediately when we met at the EXPO where runners registered, and we were very happy to see each other again. チャリティを通して当財団にお寄せいただいたご寄付は、ウクライナなどの紛争地や、途上国において困難を抱える女性や女子を支援するため、大切に使わせていただきます。

The Tokyo Marathon Foundation【CARE International Japan】 will participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2025 [Sunday, March 2, 2025] Charity as a donation recipient organization.
